About the company A leading institutional asset owner is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual as Senior Hedge Strategy Manager, to strategically maximize efficiency and profitability.
About the role Reporting to the Head of Hedging and Strategy, you will play a pivotal part in proposing and enhancing hedge and strategic initiatives, while providing support for stakeholder communications and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your expertise in financial projections, analytical studies, and modelling will be essential for optimizing investment strategies and managing risk.
Responsibilities - Proposing and enhancing hedge and strategic initiatives while managing stakeholder communications and gaining approval for frameworks.
- Managing financial projections, analytical studies, and modeling for hedging and investment strategy analysis.
- Designing and implementing tools for asset liability position monitoring, hedging analysis, and financial metrics projection.
- Creating and presenting management information related to ALM/SAA matters for relevant committees.
- Ensuring compliance with capital and risk management requirements from Group Office and regulators.
- Performing other assigned responsibilities to meet operational needs.
- Maintaining knowledge of insurance products, financial reporting bases, and asset liability management.
Requirements - University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or relevant
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Strong people management and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills
- Business acumen and a self-driven, innovative mindset
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances
- Knowledge of asset liability management, financial products, and financial reporting bases
