A global insurance firm is looking for an experienced Java (core & spring boot) system manager to join their dynamic team.
You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance and scalability. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's systems infrastructure
Responsibilities: - Manage and optimize systems infrastructure, which may include servers, networks, databases, and cloud services.
- Ensure continuous availability and stability of critical systems, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Develop and implement system procedures, and standards for compliance with best practices and regulations.
- Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and design scalable, secure solutions.
- Manage system implementation projects, coordinating with stakeholders for successful delivery.
- Monitor system performance, capacity, and security, optimizing efficiency and mitigating risks.
Requirements: - University degree in Computer Science, or a related subject
- At least 7 years' experience in IT industry with at least 2 years of strong managerial experience
- Proficiency in Core Java and Java Spring Boot
- Experience with MSQL, NSQL database, Kubernetes, API, MVC, CI/CD, Devops and Cloud
- Experience working in an Agile environment with strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Previous work experience within the financial services domain would be a plus
- Great communication skills, fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- Hong Kong passport/work permit
