About the company Highly reputed law firm in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced and qualified accountant, who has a passion for the legal industry, to join at Manager level.
About the role In this role, you will be responsible for the handling of daily accounting tasks, maintaining full sets of accounts, processing payrolls and benefits, ensuring audit tax, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities - Handling daily accounting tasks and maintaining full sets of accounts
- Processing payrolls and benefits
- Ensuring audit, tax, and regulatory compliance, including annual auditing and law society reporting.
- Liaising with local auditors, bankers, law society, tax authority, and other regulatory bodies.
- Maintain professional work relationship with head office, local support teams and suppliers.
- Keeping up to date with changes in Hong Kong accounting standards, tax legislation, and legal practice rules.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in accountancy.
- Previous experience in law firms is a must.
- Professional qualification in CPA or equivalent.
- Minimum 6+ years' relevant financial accounting experience
- Knowledgeable of Hong Kong accounting standards, tax legislation, and Solicitors' Accounts Rules.
- Proficiency in computer skills, especially Excel (PivotTable, VLookUp, etc.).
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
