About the company A Fortune Global 500 company is seeking a seasoned accounting professional with a passion for driving financial performance and optimizing costs, at Finance Manager level.
About the role Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will be responsible for analyzing financial performance, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, conducting project profitability analysis, and driving continuous improvements in business processes and ERP systems. Knowledge of Oracle and SAP is highly preferred.
Responsibilities - Analyze financial performance, variances, and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and cost optimization.
- Handle full set of accounts supported by Shared Service Team, ensuring accurate and timely recognition of actual revenue and cost.
- Lead monthly project review meetings to ensure project cost and delivery align with plans.
- Conduct project profitability analysis, identify risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on mitigation plans.
- Support quarterly business reviews with Business Unit Leaders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Drive continuous improvements in business processes and ERP system, including participation in digital transformation projects for project controlling.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related disciplines.
- Qualified accountant with 8+ years relevant experience in a sizeable company
- Knowledge of Oracle and SAP is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.
