The role:
- Identify and explore new data vendors and sources relevant to multiple asset classes and regions.
- Manage relationships with data vendors and partners across the entire data landscape, including negotiations.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with investment professionals to align and prioritize data acquisition efforts with their research roadmaps.
- Collaborate with engineering and technology teams to prioritize the data acquisition pipeline and streamline data ingestion processes.
- Work with engineering and technology teams to ensure data ingestion processes align with evolving industry practices.
- Consultatively design new data products in collaboration with data vendors and partners.
- Educate data vendors and partners on best practices for data collection and curation to meet our requirements effectively.
- Manage, measure, and report on progress using metrics tied to key business outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and management of the data budget.
- Stay informed about data trends and developments by participating in conferences, industry events, meet-ups, and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate with Legal & Compliance to maintain a compliance-first approach.
