Job Description 

  • Collaborate closely with department heads across functional units to facilitate the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities across all business divisions. Continuously enhance budgeting and forecasting methodologies to align with the companys strategic goals and objectives.
  • Examine monthly management reports, encompassing profit and loss statements, cash flow analyses, and balance sheets, to extract valuable insights and assess performance against budget and forecast projections.
  • Conduct thorough research on emerging trends, market dynamics, and innovative players within the automotive industry, and recommend relevant benchmarks for evaluating business performance.
  • Offer expert guidance and support to business units on matters related to performance monitoring, financial implications of operational decisions, investment assessments, and opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Lead strategic initiatives at the organizational level, collaborating with Operations and support functions to drive project outcomes. Develop financial models and conduct scenario analyses to facilitate management decision-making concerning potential business expansions or investment ventures.
  • Craft compelling narratives around business performance for external stakeholders and assist in preparing regular and ad-hoc presentations.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; CPA/CFA qualification in progress or attained.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Big-4 advisory/corporate finance or commercial FP&A/Corporate Finance roles, preferably within financial sectors.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Demonstrated confidence in interpreting financial data and communicating key insights to influence decision-making. Proven track record in managing cross-functional projects and coordinating diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation design. Strong research capabilities and adeptness in delivering impactful presentations in Chinese.
  • Initiative-driven, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels and functions.
