CISO - Leading Financial Institution

Our client is a leading Financial Institution with a great market reputation, and they are looking for a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). As a key leader in the organization, you will report directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and be responsible for overseeing the information security strategy and operations. They are committed to providing top-notch financial services, and they are seeking a CISO to uphold the highest standards of security and compliance.

Pinpoint Asia - Hong Kong - Full time

Salary: HK$120k - HK$160k+ per month + Performance Bonus & Medical


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the information security strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead a team of security professionals to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.
  • Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and standards to safeguard the organization's data and systems.
  • Monitor and assess security risks, conduct regular audits, and implement mitigation measures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance security posture and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support on security incidents, investigations, and response protocols.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CISO or in a senior information security role.
  • Certification in CISSP, CISA, or CEH.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese languages.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial banking regulations and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in policy and standard establishment.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience working in a similar role within the financial services sector.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in cybersecurity.
  • Additional certifications such as CISM or CRISC.
  • Advanced degree in Information Security, Computer Science, MBA or a related field.
