About the Role

As a team member of shareholder reporting team, to assist in the closing process enhancement project.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for Financial Closing Control for Finance IRT Team (70%)
  • Oversee and prepare month-end closing journal entries, reports, and statutory returns for submission to the Insurance Authority.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS requirements, ensuring accurate and proper financial accounting.
  • Supervise the assigned tasks and create a well-planned reporting schedule to ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide support to management and other teams as needed.
Financial Analysis (10%)
  • Conduct analysis, review financial information, and explain variances accurately.
Support for New or System Enhancements (20%)
  • Perform user acceptance testing, ensuring data accuracy and validating system reports.
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • University graduate with 5 year experience
  • member of recognized professional accounting is required
  • Sound IFRS 17 accounting knowledge and experience
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Excel functions
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Solid knowledge for SUN and AS400 is preferrable.
