Windows Migration & SCCM Engineer

My client, a leading fund with global offices, is urgently seeking to meet with and hire a strong and hands-on Windows Migration & SCCM Engineer to join their team and assist as they continue to upgrade and migrate their environment to Windows 11. This is an excellent opportunity for Windows Engineers with prior migration projects looking to join one of the leading funds on the Street.

NLS - Hong Kong - Full time

Salary: Up to HKD 75k per month

The role:

  • Windows Engineer to package, test and certify the firm's desktop software and applications.
  • Work with colleagues and other SMEs to test, certify and ensure applications' functionality (both in-house & third party).
  • Execute and support the migration of the firm's desktop environment from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

What you offer:

  • Strong Windows Engineer with deep knowledge of the Windows Operating System, the Windows Registry, Active Directory and GPOs.
  • Prior Windows migration experience (migrating from Windows 10 to 11 a definite advantage).
  • Experience using software packaging tools such as SCCM, InstallShield, App-V etc.
  • Knowledge of user profile management (Citrix UPM, UE-V, WEM, Appsense etc.)
  • Automation and scripting using PowerShell and/or VBscript.
  • Experience in testing and quality assurance / certifying packaged applications, as well as creating and maintaining technical documentation of the software packages.
  • Flexibility to work and implement the migration during out-of-office hours / weekends.
