Job Summary: An experienced Infrastructure Project Manager is required to manage various infrastructure projects within the IT Division. The successful candidate will primarily lead a numbers of network infrastructure related projects of various sizes. The incumbent will also work as part of a programme management team to ensure standardizations of project management framework as well as good coordination between different IT projects which are completing with one another for resources. The role involves close liaison with network engineers, application teams, internal business users, as well as vendors and manufacturers.
Job Duties: Responsibilities:
- Planning and implementation of projects, sub-tracks, and financial management in line with HKEX project management framework and governance standards.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors on project and change executions.
- Partner closely with cross-functional technology teams as well as industry peers and partners on technical solutioning and implementation approach.
- Manage key stakeholders to agree on outcome expectation across scope, timeline, budget, risks during project charter phase.
- Develop tactical and strategic project plans to respond to changing conditions effectively. Track progress, provide status updates, and escalate where required to project sponsors timely.
- Manage key milestone changes, scope creep, or replanning as part of project change management process.
- Design, agree, and implement service transition plan with Operation teams and businesses to assure change disruptions are well managed and within acceptable threshold.
- Resolve conflicts and manage priority issues across project or functional areas.
- Measure project performance and benefit realization using appropriate tools and techniques.
Requirements:
- University degree, preferably in IT and/or Finance related subject
- Minimum 8 years' experience in project management / digital transformation in financial / technology institutions
- Knowledge of infrastructure technology, preferably network knowledge with experience in managing large scale network infrastructure project
- Experience of working within a structured project management framework, adopting prevalent project management standards and principles
- The successful candidate is likely to have a formal qualification (e.g. PMP, Prince II)
- Knowledge of project management tools and techniques (e.g. MS Project, Jira, Confluence)
- Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Effective in unifying and creating teams of people with disparate skills
- Builds trust and demonstrates integrity in all circumstances.
