Job Summary: The Post-Trade Application Team is responsible for the design, implementation and application support of HKEX's post-trade systems, including clearing and settlement, nominee and depository, collateral and risk management systems as well as our data warehouse platform for post-trade business.
Job Duties: As IT specialist, the incumbent will support the on-going maintenance, troubleshooting, enhancements of HKEX systems. You will have the opportunity to work closely with different technical teams, vendors and business users for development and production support of Post-Trade Systems. Besides, you may also be required to lead or participate in projects for new business initiatives or technology obsolescence on behalf of Post-Trade Application Team.
Responsibilities: - Perform system design, analysis, development, documentation and other development support activities during project development
- Coordinate with other IT teams, business users and vendors for testing and system implementation
- Assist supervisor or project manager to prepare the project documents to fulfill and comply with project management and compliance requirements
- Serve as primary support for SWIFT system upgrades and day-to-day maintenance
- Support other ad-hoc development and testing activities
Requirements: - Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related disciplines
- Minimum 4 years' system development and support experience
- Solid experience in SWIFT processing support
- With knowledge and experience in IBM Mainframe application development (i.e. MVS, OS/390, z/OS, DB2) and Linux platform support
- Possess project management skills and qualifications (e.g. PMP, CSM) is an advantage
- Experience in financial services industry is an added value
- Familiar with system development life cycle
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage
