Product Manager (VP) - Direct Custody

Key responsibilities                             

• Key responsibility is to be part of the product development to develop and execute the Post Trade Product suite
• Be part of driving the operation model for the post trade business
• Be part of reviewing the product suite to ensure its competitiveness and viability
• Be adept on following regulatory and policy changes within the environment so that product/service offering are in line with changes
• Collaborate with Operations to make sure that business can adapt and satisfy changing business and regulatory requirements
• Review and enhance product offerings and to gauge any areas for improving the processes so to ensure profitability is met
• Work with internal and external stakeholders
• Work with the business to identify new business opportunities and develop new products and services offering
• Oversee the performance and deliverables of service providers

Key skills

• 8 years + of experience in Post Trade related experience in a financial institution with Product Management experience
• Degree holder in Business, Finance, or related disciplines
• Solid experience in Securities Services in Hong Kong, Stock Connect and Bond Connect Markets with overseas market knowledge being a plus
• Good knowledge of CCASS/CMU operations, Knowledge of HKSCC rules and procedures and local regulatory framework
• Experience on SWIFT knowledge and Settlement Agent models and third party clearing
• Proficiency in English and Cantonese, Mandarin is a plus
