The role is to act as a representative of financial reporting team to participate in insurance system enhancement to ensure that the financial transactions from insurance system so support IFRS and regulatory reporting. The role also needs to provide data analysis and etl support for month-end closing.
Job Descriptions:
- Access the impact in GL generated from life system due to new business initiatives or financial reporting needed.
- Provide user requirement and participate UAT from product launch to various finance specific projects to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
- Provide ad-hoc data extraction and analysis from Life systems and ETL upon stakeholders' requests.
- Monitoring and control on the quality of financial data for local and group reporting for life business.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant with over 6-year solid experience on insurance financing reporting on local statutory and group result.
- Knowledge in IFRS 17 is an advantage but not a must.
- Familiar with insurance product and experience in UAT participation is preferred.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Proficient in SQL, VBA or Python is a plus.
- Good communicate and presentation skill.
- Candidate with less experience may be considered as Assistant Manager grade.
