About the Role

The position will participate in various investment operation, control and reporting tasks for the MPF and pension products, as well as assist in the implementation of special business projects including fund restructuring, new fund structure, implementation, process transformation and automation, integration of offshore supporting team, to be carried out effectively and timely.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor trade process management, reconciliation and valuation for the MPF funds
  • Participate in various investment controls & monitor specific for MPF and pension funds, such as The HK$ exposure, Forex and Interest rate monitoring, etc.
  • Supervise and handle regulatory reportings, including but not limited to regulartory returns, Portfolio Holdings, Fund Price and Performance reporting, Fee Comparative Platform. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of submission
  • Monitor fee and expenses, cashflow, fund performance analysis and other related reporting
  • Deliver the annual audit of MPF Scheme in a good quality and in a timely manner
  • Handle regular reporting for group consolidation/management reporting/marketing/purposes for MPF regulated Funds
  • Support the integration of offshore supporting team projects and performance monitoring
  • Support compliance team to perform due diligence on external service providers (such as custodian and investment managers)
  • Assist and support the implementation of new funds, automation projects, process improvements and other ad hoc projects
  • Ensure assigned tasks and projects are completed within planned schedule.
  • Coordination of audit visits by external auditors and internal audit team and taking proper follow-up actions on issues identified from the visits.
  • Ensure regular investment reporting, regulatory returns and year end financial statements are being prepared accurately and submitted on a timely basis
Requirements:
  • University graduate, preferably major in business or finance related subject or equivalent
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience in asset management/fund operation (such as investment valuation, settlements and relevant asset management area)
  • Familiar with MPFA and other regulators' requirements on MPF funds
  • Collaborative, responsible detail minded person with a positive attitude, able to manage stress and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in both spoken & written English & Chinese
  • Proficiency in PC skills (MS Access & Excel)
  • Candidate with less experiences will be considered as Assistant
  • Immediate available or short notice will be an advantage
