We are seeking an experienced Data Governance talent to lead and implement data governance initiatives across the organization. You will be responsible for developing and executing data governance frameworks, policies, and controls throughout the data lifecycle. Your expertise will be essential in driving data quality, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are crucial, along with a deep understanding of data management best practices.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Proactively manage data governance throughout the data lifecycle
  • Structure enterprise data governance implementation roadmaps including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilities
  • Drive both local and group data governance initiatives, providing guidance on data governance, policies and controls
  • Facilitate Critical Data Elements (CDEs) implementation and monitoring
  • Facilitate the discussion between departments on group data governance / quality requirements as well as any data governance related issues
  • Design and implement data quality assurance processes and controls, data linage, maturity assessment of end-to-end data life cycle
  • Support Data Governance Council meeting with senior management executives
  • Support AI Governance and other data related initiatives

Job Requirements:
  • Degree holder preferably in Computer Science, Statistics or related disciplines
  • Have at least 10 years of total work experience, including a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in data governance and/or data management
  • Understanding of Databricks, Collibra, Python and Azure stack would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of SQL and PowerBI would be an advantage
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong knowledge of industry leading data quality, data protection management practices and data related regulatory requirements
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese (written and spoken)
