About the Role

The AP LCD Operations team lead will be responsible for managing a broad range of operational projects and processes and will lead a team of 10 administrative professionals that support the Legal and Compliance Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing aspects of the Division's internal operations, including space management, business continuity planning, system entitlements, and on / off-boarding of staff
  • Managing and tracking budgets and finances within the department, including approval of relevant business expenses
  • Supporting management reporting to and for local and global LCD management teams
  • Working with the global team to manage vendor relationships within the Division (Rates, Terms, Performance), professional services, and outsourcing strategy
  • Managing the administrative professional program, including day-to-day personnel management and training
  • Representing Legal and Compliance on certain Divisional and Regional committees and communities of practice
  • Ad-hoc projects as required
Qualifications, Skills & Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in business management, administration, project management or consulting (or similar levels of experience in Legal or Compliance areas with a strong interest in business management)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build networks, consensus, and develop partnerships across the organization.
  • Ability to interact with internal stakeholders and service providers, including IT, BCM, HR, Corporate Services, Finance, and the global LCD COO team
  • Risk awareness. The ability to react quickly to issues and track them through to conclusion.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with multi-tasking abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for quality output.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and flexibility to deal with different stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
  • Desire to work in an environment strong in teamwork, commitment, and excellence.
  • Prior people management experience required
  • Strong English communication skills necessary. Fluency in Cantonese/Mandarin will be an advantage.
