Retail Distribution

Hang Seng's Retail Distribution focuses on personal wealth management and financial services. Our one-stop wealth management initiatives are designed for both our affluent and mass integrated account customers. With more than 280 service outlets, including around 60 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population, offering an extensive range of products.
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our Retail Distribution as Assistant Learning Academy Manager. This role is based in the Human Resources Learning Team and will be driving day to day training delivery and learning projects supporting Retail Distribution's growth.
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the key stakeholders and subject matter experts to design and deliver learning solutions to enhance staff competencies and also drive business results for the Branch Networks
  • Work closely with the Human Resources Learning team and also collaborate with Group/Regional Learning teams, external vendors to implement and deliver learning solutions with the agreed timeline and budget
  • Drive learning programme digitalization and process improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and to support issue resolution.
  • Provide learning supports to Branch Networks staff throughout their learning and development journey, measure the learning effectiveness to propose necessary actions for enhancements
  • Enable bank's strategies, purpose and values through designing and delivering appropriate learning solutions, including being certified to deliver Group learning programs
  • Promote future skills development initiatives across the Branch Networks and equip them with the necessary competencies to excel in the constantly changing workplace
  • Partner with various learning academy teams and relevant parties on other supports to ensure the training programmes are successfully implemented
  • Co-lead various departmental administrative and internal control responsibilities as per Group and Bank's requirements.
Requirements
  • Degree holder in any disciplines with good knowledge in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Human Resources or a related discipline; professional qualifications such as FRM, AHKIB CFMP an advantage but not a must.
  • 3 - 5 years of solid experience in learning and development or frontline banking role(s)
  • Knowledge in learning programme deployment & facilitation, project management & delivery a definite asset.
  • Capable of communicating business solutions to stakeholders at all levels with ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate agile ways of working to operate in a dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated, action-oriented team player with developing skills in coaching junior team members.
  • Sense of ownership and customer care mindset to ensure efficient deliverables with good qualify and impact.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficient in using the MS Excel, Words and PowerPoints
