The Sales Specialist is responsible for growing the Risk business in the Hong Kong market primarily by prospecting for new clients and developing new business opportunities within existing customer accounts.
The Sales Specialist must have domain knowledge of Risk and Compliance requirements, workflow and solid relationships within the Customer risk use case. To be successful, the candidate should have knowledge of these risk areas and how they are inherent within the Customer risk use case that is tied predominantly to corporations.
The successful candidate must be able to effectively position and demonstrate the solutions (Screening/Due Diligence/Technology Workflow) in this area and through a consultative sales process.
Key Responsibilities - As a trusted advisor, the candidate has to discover, structure, negotiate and close deals
- Drive gross sales by proactively identify pipeline opportunities primarily through new logos
- Develop the sales strategy for their proposition within the given territory
- Provide insights and share thought leadership on their proposition with customers
- Deliver customer demonstrations on their specific propositions
Qualifications and Experience Required - Deep market understanding including a) expert understanding of Risk and Compliance b) knowledge of relevant market c) strong understanding of customers' business model workflow
- World class selling skills (identify, develop, & articulate proposition/ consultative selling) as a "hunter & trusted advisor"
- Accountable strong sales 'closer'
- Proven track record in a quota bearing sales environment
- Strong Presentation skills (verbal & written) - expert at external conferences and producing compelling RFI's /RFP's and whitepapers
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Takes pride in their finish work: Proposals/RFP's/PPT's with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to organize and execute a sales plan
- Executive presence
- Over 6 years of industry and sales experience
- Experience selling to C- level executives
Knowledge & Skill : - Experienced professional with in-depth knowledge of technical discipline or specialism
- Provides subject matter expertise across sub-units
- Strong understanding of other roles within the function or Business Unit and how they are connected
- Knowledge of relationships between all relevant groups within the company
- Adapts traditional approaches to solutions and applies in different circumstances
- Demonstrates mastery of a specific discipline across a range of related issues

- Provides input to department objectives and goals of a sub-Business Unit or function
