Job Purpose:
Offer assistance to his/her supervisor
i) To support key corporate development related activities of Directors' Office (DO);
ii) To strengthen the research capability of Economic Research and Investment Strategy Department;
iii) On any other initiatives or general administration as appropriate

Main Responsibilities:
Economic Research and Investment Strategy:
• Assist in analysing data and preparing reports on economic conditions to facilitate senior management's strategic and risk management decisions
• Support group economist and market strategists in conducting research and dissemination of research outputs to stakeholders
• Perform ad hoc projects as assigned from time to time

Corporate Development:
• Support key activities of DO including but not limited to market research to support senior management on decision-making process, presentation materials for external and internal meetings, and corporate events organized by DO
• Coordinate meetings and maintain relationship with existing and potential strategic partners
• Manage the content of corporate intranet platform

Incumbent Requirements:
• Degree holder in Economics, Business Administration, Social Science or related disciplines
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in banking industry is preferred
• Familiarity in mainland China and Hong Kong's economy and policy would be an advantage
• Well-versed in MS Office including PowerPoint and Excel
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin). Japanese speaking is a plus.
• Good communication, interpersonal, analytical and project management skills
• Good team player and detail oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
