Job Description: Role Summary The role is responsible for formulating and executing strategies in talent development for the agency channels. The job holder is also expected to provide inputs for the boarder distribution strategy and represent the voice of talent development within Distribution Leadership Team. It will assume leadership in functions including , Distribution Training and Development, and Brighter Academy, and work closely with Distribution Leadership Team to manage the overall agency operations, drive and implement various agency initiatives and ensure quality business and sustainable growth for SLHK Agency Channel. Job Responsibilities Strategy Development - Oversee the functions including Distribution Training and Development, and Brighter Academy to devise strategies to deliver various business targets respectively
- Take the lead to grow and develop agency channels, establish standards of capability and performance to deliver against the business plans, and ensure the sales force's professional ethics.
- Provide input into broader distribution strategy and represent voice of talent development within Distribution Leadership Team
Talent Development - Develop state of the art training programs to onboard and train agency and partnership teams
- Develop and manage e-learning and onboarding platform to ensure an integrated recruitment experience
- Develop initiatives for Brighter Academy to drive them to enhance productivity
- Develop product training and represent Agency on product development
Team Management - Develop a high performing team ensuring capability development and proper succession within Distribution Talent Development
Job Requirements - Degree holder or above
- Minimum 15 years' relevant experience in insurance or banking industries (or equivalent) of which 5 years in managerial level
- Holder of FLMI is highly preferred
- Ability to motivate members of Distribution and Agency heads to achieve desired results
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills
- Good team leader with creative mindset
- Ability to engage and retain key members of the team and win buy-in of the Agency force
- Sound knowledge of agency operations and their system in driving desired behaviors
- Good analytical ability and strong business sense
- Willing to accept challenges and work under high pressure
- Excellent command of English & Chinese and PC literate; fluency in Mandarin an advantage
