Our client is seeking a candidate for their Asia Pacific Regional Finance Team located in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the monthly account closing and evaluate the group reporting package.
- Generate reports and group reporting schedules, providing timely variance explanations.
- Handle cost allocations and intercompany transactions for Asia Pacific markets, including PO/invoice processing, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, along with necessary schedules.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, tax regulations, audit requirements, and statutory obligations.
- Manage statutory audits and tax filings independently.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting and a qualified accountant designation.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in a multinational or listed company.
- Practical experience with month-end closing processes.
- Required audit experience and a strong grasp of Hong Kong AND Singapore regulations.
- Capability to work under pressure and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while multitasking.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
