Job Summary:

This role is responsible for leading and managing a sub-team of distribution representatives to achieve the company's sales targets and objectives. This role involves managing relationships with existing intermediary accounts while identifying new accounts' opportunities to drive profitable revenue growth. You will provide coaching, motivation, and direction to your teammates to enhance revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and the team harmony, while working closely with your supervisor, the profit centres and cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with company underwriting guidelines.

Job Duties:

  • Your primary responsibility is to lead the sub-team in daily underwriting tasks, serving as a referral point for junior staff members and contributing to peer review processes to maintain an effective working environment.
  • You need to drive and grow profitable business with your existing and new intermediary accounts by defending renewal business and creating new opportunities.
  • Taking proactive approach to understand the customers thoroughly and be able to provide customised solutions based on their needs.
  • Developing and maintaining an annual account plan for allocated intermediaries to achieve sales strategies and targets. Conducting portfolio reviews, joint calls and training as necessary. Managing the overall sales pipeline with the intermediaries to ensure AW achieves its annual sales targets.
  • Leading the identification, planning and winning of new key account relationships to grow the portfolio of intermediary accounts in line with sales strategy.
  • Managing the effective delivery of account plans and/or winning of new business, by working collaboratively with marketing, profit centres, operations, claims and channel underwriting colleagues to meet service and performance expectations.
  • Working closely with finance and collection team to resolve discrepancies and streamline payment processes. Proactively engage with clients regarding payment timelines and outstanding balances, fostering relationships to encourage timely payments.
  • Actively coach, develop and support account managers and less experienced colleagues to ensure excellence in sales performance and aid in their personal and professional development.
  • Involving in ad-hoc projects when required by the management.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Business Studies or related disciplines with minimum 5 years of supervisor experience.
  • Good relationship management, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong driver on planning and executing aggressive sales strategies.
  • Positive attitude and ability to handle challenges.
  • Energetic, well-organized person with strong interpersonal skills.
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
