We are now seeking a specialist for Internal Communications in Hong Kong to support our firm's internal communications practice.

Service Line Overview

Internal Communications drives people engagement and performance by keeping our colleagues informed of the latest developments at KPMG, understanding our firm's business strategy to achieve our Trust and Growth ambitions. We provide interactive channels and platforms of communications, so every colleague's voice can be heard and everyone can contribute.

The Internal Communications specialist is instrumental in driving communications and engaging people on firm-wide and Hong Kong region's happenings, through working with team members as well as cross-function colleagues to help promote key initiatives and programs.

Key Responsibilities

The successful incumbent will:
• Support the planning and execution of internal communications projects from start to finish, often working across functions and People teams to deliver impact
• Develop impactful communications content, high-quality translations, including but not limited to staff newsletter, intranet stories, interview features, video script
• Provide event and logistical support to ensure the successful delivery of face-to-face or virtual programs and activities managed by Internal Communications to engage the firm's employees; solid understanding of how a typical event is run and managed
• Actively identify opportunities to engage KPMG China employees utilizing different contents and through different channels
• Create content and generate ideas for video shooting and production targeting KPMG China employees
• Stay up to date with current internal communications and people engagement contents and trends; conduct competitive analysis and research to understand best practice and provide data-driven recommendations for the subject matter.
• Have the opportunity to get involved in firm-wide transformation and change projects

Experience & Background
• Education background with bachelor degree or above
• Excellent interpersonal communications skills and presentation skills
• 1-2 year(s) of relevant experience in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related discipline
• Proficiency in English skill in both written and verbal. Mandarin and simplified Chinese is a plus
• Ability to understand and work effectively in complex multinational business environments
• Ability to collaborate beyond the team to build rapport and work effectively to achieve desirable outcomes
• Good project management skills and growth mindset
• Ability to deliver, creative and able to think out of the box, high learning agility and work under pressure with tight deadlines
• Video shooting and production skills is highly preferred
