Job duties:
  • Reponsibilities include overseeing the complete processing cycle of bond trades and payments, encompassing communication, booking, confirmation, reconciliation, and settlement.
  • Ensure prompt and efficient processing and smooth settlement of daily transactions.
  • Manage custody services by monitoring cash movements in custodian accounts and assisting in investigating any discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies in deal booking, payments, and confirmations.
  • Conduct secondary level checks for validation purposes.
  • Engage with clients or counterparts to address confirmation, matching, and settlement issues.
  • Monitor and address breaks and discrepancies in system platforms.
  • Assist in system enhancements and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree coupled with 4-6 years of experience in bond processing.
  • Comprehensive understanding and familiarity with bond processing mechanisms, Repo, and ICSD/CSD platforms such as ClearStream, CMU, and EuroClear.
  • Possesses good judgment, attentiveness, and practicality.
  • Skilled in multitasking, diligent, and adept at working under pressure.
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other PC applications.
