Job Purpose:
To review, analyze and support / approve credit application; approve credit excesses and irregularities; take up credit-related projects.

Main Responsibilities:
• Approve credit applications within delegated lending authority
• Analyze and review credit applications beyond the delegated authority for higher authority level's decision making
• Monitor compliance with credit policies and guidelines
• Approve credit excesses and irregularities within the delegated lending authority
• Identify potential problem loan situation and, if necessary, working with relationship manager to take early remedial actions including loan/credit restructuring
• Assist in formulating and reviewing credit policies and guidelines
• Take up credit-related projects

Incumbent Requirements:
• University degree or above with major in Banking, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accountancy or related discipline
• Minimum 8 years' credit experience in commercial banking
• Knowledge of commercial banking products including trade finance
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
• Good knowledge in accounting principles and financial statements analysis
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
