With a focus on Global and General Insurance, here in Hong Kong the group is seeking a senior business development professional to target corporate clients/ distribution channels that have corporate clients for their Property & Casualty Insurance Business.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite and grow a profitable P&C portfolio across Non-Motor business
  • Manage renewal portfolio and identify and develop new business pipeline in the target segments
  • Meets and exceeds financial plans
  • Proactively develop and strengthen client relationships to expand business opportunities
  • Maintains regular contact with agents and brokers. Maintains a high market profile and good client relationships
  • Work closely with Head of Department to form and implement sales strategies with clear action plan
  • Work across functional teams in development and execution of business
  • Ready to undertake additional tasks and projects in support of overall objectives of Distribution Team
  • Advocate Libertys mission and vision and build our reputation in local market

 

Main Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree with minimum 5 years of experience in business development or underwriting roles managing agent and broker channels
  • Passing Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination (IIQE) – Paper 1 & 2 is a must
  • Strong track record of developing profitable portfolio
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently and under pressure in fast changing environment
  • Ability to navigating ambiguity and adapting to changes
  • Good decision-making skills and can effectively interact with people internally and externally
  • Proven strategic, analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Result oriented, self-motivated, strong sense of ownership
  • Advocate growth mind-set and “can do” attitude
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
