We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced professional as
Head of Sales Management within Hang Seng Private Bank. This ideal candidate should have a proven track record in strategic planning, sales targets, performance & cost management, as well as data analytics to empower sales teams to achieve and exceed performance goals.
The role wo uld report into the Head of Sales Management and Business Development and lead a team of sales managers to work on the following items.
Principal responsibilities - Formulate and implement franchise strategy, scorecard, sales targets, and track implementation of key strategic initiatives to ensure on-track of our overall direction
- Collate, analyze and form actionable insights on business performance and management information (MI), driving sales performance and achieving desired and balanced business outcomes, which aligns to our overall strategy
- Champion performance management via hosting sales meetings with PB Head, Market Heads, RM teams and all relevant frontline teams to regularly review sales performance, and proactively suggest recommendation when necessary
- Champion Sales initiatives (such as sales campaigns and tactical initiatives) on an end-to-end fashion: working with Market Head, Investment specialists and product teams on aspired business outcome, client selection, product fulfilment, keeping track of commercialization results, communicate successes for replication
- Work with Business Finance, Data and analytics and all relevant teams to improve quality of gathering and dissemination, optimizing report content and frequency, while maintaining accountability and governance of such
- Manage headcount and cost effectively
- Work closely with Business Risk Management and Business Implementation team to achieve a balanced approach on risk vs. business impact vs. client outcome
- Work closely with WPB teams in planning and building initiatives to ensure alignment to overall WPB distribution and channel strategies
- Keep abreast, be knowledgeable and abide by, local regulations and practices, legislation and Group operating models and standards to avoid infringement of laws, regulations and codes of practice, while staying on top of market intelligence and emerging trends
Requirements - University graduate in Business / Economics / Finance / Accounting / related discipline
- Minimum 10 years' private wealth / private banking experience
- Proven track record of formulating strategy, scorecards, executing sales initiatives and championing sales performance management
- Strong business knowledge in investment and insurance products
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and transform into actionable insights
- Attention to detail, compliance and control orientation
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese
- Great sense of ownership and proactiveness to deliver efficient and effective output
