Job Description - Provide daily technical support for the bank's data networks, ensuring smooth operations and prompt resolution of any network-related issues
- Oversee and supervise network service providers to deliver high-quality services, adhering to agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Take ownership of production problems under the network team, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and effective resolution, minimizing any adverse effects on business operations
- Collaborate with regional teams to plan, review, and implement change requests related to the core network, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure
- Manage network service delivery to meet SLA commitments and industry best practices, maintaining a high standard of service quality
- Ensure that infrastructure services delivered under the network team comply with audit and information security requirements, safeguarding the bank's data and customer information
- Conduct thorough capacity planning exercises to meet present and future business requirements, ensuring the network infrastructure can accommodate the organization's growth
- Maintain and execute network team-related disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity and minimize downtime during critical events
- Actively participate in network team-related projects and initiatives, providing valuable insights and technical expertise to drive successful outcomes
Requirements - Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in managing and supporting complex data networks in a banking or financial services environment
- Holder of Cisco CCNP/CCIE certification, which will be considered a strong advantage
- Proficiency in supporting Cisco (Nexus, VPN, ACS, WLC & ISE), Infoblox, F5, Arista, Huawei, Nagios, Netbrain, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto systems
- Strong analytical skills in network troubleshooting, fault isolation, and rectification
- Experience in Cisco ACI and SDA will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of banking technologies will be considered a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin), enabling effective communication with staff at all levels
- Demonstrated customer and business focus with a positive working attitude and the ability to be a good team player
