Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for trustee service clients, focusing on individual occupational retirement schemes (ORSO schemes) and other institutional clients.
    • Provide timely advice and updates on ORSO schemes and regulatory changes.
    • Coordinate responses to client inquiries on fiduciary and regulatory matters.
    • Collaborate with the Investment Analysis and Product Department to review investment structures and performance of ORSO schemes.
    • Attend trustee/pension committee meetings, act as secretary, and prepare meeting minutes.
    • Ensure compliance with trust deed rules and relevant laws for receipts and payments to scheme members.
    • Review and settle outstanding fees or invoices related to ORSO scheme services.
  • Support to Department Head:
  • Monitor the implementation plan for new client onboardings (both pension and fund).
  • Develop new business with existing and new clients, including formulating business plans and handling RFPs.
  • Manage day-to-day administrative matters of the department.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders (Pension Services, Fund Services, Legal and Compliance, Risk Management) to ensure high levels of service, professionalism, operational efficiency, and compliance to protect the interests of trustee service clients and beneficiaries.
  • Regulatory Advisory: Advise clients within the regulatory framework and stay updated on client-impacting initiatives from relevant markets.
  • Industry Participation: Participate in trustee industry meetings/discussions and prepare responses to consultations on regulatory changes related to trustee business.
  • Additional Tasks: Take on tasks and projects as assigned by the Department Head.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the trustee/fund industry, with over 5 years at a managerial level.
  • Proactive in building internal and external networks.
  • CPA or legal background is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and governing frameworks for trustee services and/or investment funds (knowledge of ORSO preferred).
  • Proficient in English (both spoken and written).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Detail-oriented in both strategy and execution.
