Position Summary This is an opportunity for a business-savvy salesperson to join a growing regional North APAC team covering the LSEG Data & Feeds Solutions i.e. Real-Time Data, and Pricing and Reference Services.
As a subject matter authority across Financial data and its application across buy side and sell side clients, you will collaborate with Account Managers and Customer Consultants focusing on all sales (new, cross-sells, up-sells) for the North Asia territory with both existing and new customers. This Sales Specialist role will lead deals aligned to the Data & Feeds proposition and serve accounts within a defined territory. The role works in close partnership with internal partners to proactively drive gross sales and revenue.
Role Responsibilities - Structure, negotiate and close deals
- Proactively identify pipeline opportunities for upsell and seek for new logos
- Develop the sales strategy for the Enterprise Data Solutions within the given territory
- Provide insights and share LSEG thought leadership on the Enterprise Data proposition with customers
Qualifications and Experience Required - Deep market understanding including a) guide understanding of financial market b) knowledge of global cross-asset market c) strong understanding of customers' business model workflow
- Knowledge of the competition and awareness of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace
- Best-in-class selling skills (identify, qualify, develop, & articulate proposition/ consultative selling) as a "hunter"
- Strong pipeline management and sales negotiation skills as a 'closer'
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication skills and presentation skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to coordinate and implement sales plan in the given territory to drive revenue growth
- Creative thinker and good sales ideation skills
- Executive presence
- Over 5 years of industry, sales or market experience
- Experience selling to C- level executives
- Proven track record in a quota-bearing sales environment
- Advantage with Product and Workflow Expertise e.g. knowledge of financial modeling, Excel; knowledge of trading floor tech / data apps
