Business Function

Responsibilities
Provide COO office business management coverage for GFM across Sales, Trading and Fixed Income business, with focus to drive the rollout of new products, projects and initiatives.
  • New Product Approval (NPA) and Product Development - Act as NPA lead to coordinate with support units and sales/traders to drive the new product workflow and approval on end-to-end basis
  • Business Lead for System Projects - Ability to drive system/platform projects as GFM business lead on end-to-end business perspective. Work with GFM tech and various stakeholders to drive the rollout of digital and system enhancement projects
  • Ability to drive changes - as key representative to liaise with other support, control, and business units to drive GFM initiatives including new product, system, process
  • Product and Sales governance - Drive various product and sales process review to ensure the relevant policy and regulations are fulfilled. Examples include product review for new regulations, annual product review, post implementation review
  • Represent COO Office / the team to host or present in various related committees or meetings
  • Automation and Data - Use automation and data tools to drive automation and streamline workflow
  • Perform other necessary tasks as required to meet various business and control needs
Requirements
  • 6 to 8 years' relevant experience in Global Financial Markets, Private Banking or relevant fields. Leadership experience in managing teams is preferred
  • Strong leadership and people management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of GFM products including FX, Derivatives, Money Market, Security Trading and Structure Products
  • Understanding of GFM business flows, associated risk areas (regulatory, capital, market risk, credit risk, settlement etc..)
  • Proven ability to lead cross functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and risk control sense
  • Experience with automation tool (e.g. VBA, Python) and data visualization tool (e.g. Tableau) is a plus
