COO - Boutique Hedge Fund

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the founder to develop and implement the firms strategic vision and business plan.
• Manage all aspects of the firms operations, including trading, compliance, risk management, and client services.
• Identify and implement operational efficiencies and best practices to enhance productivity and scalability.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring alignment with the firms strategic objectives.
• Ensure the firm adheres to all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Evaluate and implement technology solutions that enhance operational capabilities and client service.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and service providers.
• Represent the firm in presentations to potential investors, showcasing the firms strategies and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in the hedge fund industry or investment management, with a strong operational background.
• Proven track record of driving operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to think critically and strategically, with a focus on long-term growth and sustainability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Presentable and confident in engaging with potential investors and stakeholders.
