Execution Services Summer Intern (Hong Kong)

The Execution Analyst/Quant Trader primary responsibility will be to analyze all aspects of the firm's trading to optimize workflow and execution trading with a focus on Portfolio Managers ("PMs") within Systematic execution. The work will require learning and understanding market microstructure, electronic trading and algorithmic execution. The successful candidate will analyze data, evaluate trading choices and also interact with the sell side (brokers) & multiple exchanges to achieve best execution minimizing market impact and reducing cost. The person will also need to create strong internal and external relationships, apply quantitative analysis and data-driven methods to offer market and execution advisory to the PMs and contribute to the overall execution process.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide multi-asset class execution in equity, options, FX, and futures for portfolio managers
  • Conduct research, identify patterns, evaluate trends
  • Analyze trading performance looking for possible opportunities to improve execution quality
  • Design and create scripts, reports, and visual tools for analysis
  • Monitor automated trading systems as directed

Qualifications/Skills Required
  • Bachelor degree in Economics/Computer Science/Mathematics or business degree with minor in a technical field (econometrics, math, computer science)
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL/KDB), programming or statistics preferred
  • Previous financial services internships a plus
  • Detail oriented; Demonstrates thoroughness and strong ownership of work
  • Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others
  • Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, changing environment; Good sense of urgency
  • Strong communication skills
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.5 and above required
  • Students graduating summer 2026 and before are welcome to apply
