Junior Commercial Banker training programme

Our client is an international commercial bank who are seeking exceptional talent to join their 2025 junior banker training programme. Working with senior RMs you will learn all aspects of both front and back office operations with a view to becoming an RM in your own right.

Madison Pearl - Hong Kong - Full time

Salary: HK$300k - HK$500k

Role:

  • Perform account onboarding, including KYC/AML due diligence and prepare new client reports.
  • Prepare in-depth financial statements in relation to both new and existing clients.
  • Work with Relationship Managers to prepare and process credit proposals.
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders across all business verticals to become a subject matter expert on the banks credit policies, products and services.
  • Liaise with RMs and clients to resolve issues and queries.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance / Accounting / Business Management, Economics / Mathematics or Engineering.
  • Up to 2 years working experience in banking or financial services. Fresh graduates who meet the education criteria may be considered. A minimum of a 2:1 (GPA 3.4) is required.
  • Fluency in English, oral and written. Other regional languages are useful but not essential.
  • Strong credit skills are essential as are a good understanding of financial services products and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent ability with MS Office products is required with advanced knowledge of Excel strongly preferred.
  • Candidates must be based, and have the right to work, in Hong Kong.
