Senior North Asia Macro Trader

Role:

• Execute and manage FX/Rates trades with a focus on North Asia currencies, ensuring optimal performance and risk management.
• Develop and implement trading strategies to maximise profitability while adhering to the firm's risk management policies.
• Monitor market trends, economic data, and geopolitical events to identify trading opportunities.
• Collaborate with the sales team and other trading partners to enhance the macro trading franchise.
• Work with all stakeholders to develop the macro trading, risk management, and reporting system.
• Co-manage the corporate business development team and partner with all stakeholders to strengthen the corporate client franchise

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA) preferred.
• Extensive experience in FX/Rates trading, with a focus on North Asia markets.
• Strong understanding of macroeconomic factors affecting currency markets.
• Proficiency in trading platforms and financial analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
