The Senior System Analyst will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the PRULife system. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure the system meets business needs and regulatory requirements. The Senior System Analyst will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving system issues, as well as providing technical guidance to junior team members.
Job Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain the PRULife system, ensuring it meets business requirements and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, test, and implement system enhancements and new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Ensure system documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
- Participate in system audits and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
Job Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 8+ years of experience in system analysis and development, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of PRULife system or similar insurance systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as VB.net, Unix, 4gl, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript and DevOps CI/CD.
- Experience with Informix database management system.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the insurance industry
- Excellent command of English and Chinese (written and spoken)
