What is this position about?

The Transversal Projects Team is positioned in the Projects & Governance department, which resides under the Territory COO domain. The project manager covers projects of a transversal nature, which may span across various stakeholders within the bank. Projects are diverse and may arise internally from Head Office or Local COO/ CEO and externally such as HK Association of Banks (HKAB), HK SAR Government, HK Monetary Authority (HKMA) and Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).

What would be your typical day at BNPP Paribas look like?

Primary Role Responsibilities

• Working with key stakeholders to define requirements and delivery milestones.

• Managing transversal projects initiated internally or externally.

• Project planning and tracking including creating key milestones and performance indicators.

• Coordinating project deployment / system implementation as required.

• Coordinating collection of statistic and develop dashboard on management request.

• Studying and implementing effective work organization practices.

• Formulation of procedures, including setup of a new procedure, coordination of a procedure amendment/ renewal with various stakeholders and to obtain management signoff.

• Preparing steering committee presentation and chairing steering committees.

• Performing self-assessments according to regulatory requirements.

• HKAB coordination of requests.

• Handling of on-boarding/ exiting of non-BNPP users (e.g., Contractors/ Consultants).

Other contributions

• Project manage the HKMA SPM OR-2 Operational Resilience framework.

• Identify and implement areas of improvement under the department.

• Deep Dive into departments under COO scope and suggest improvement areas.

• To assist other sub teams within the department on an ad-hoc basis.

• Handling of Access Rights requests.

What is required for you to succeed?

• 5+ Years experience in managing regulatory assessments

• Able to understand and interpret regulatory requirements

• Knowledge or experience on implementing the HKMA SPM OR-2 Operational Resilience Framework

• Project Management experience

• Ability to work independently and also as part of a team

• Good Communication and Presentation skills

• Business Level English language skills and French (added advantage)

• Technical skills (MS products like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, PowerBI)

• Good inter-personal & communication skills, analytical mind-set & self-motivated

• Good Interpersonal skills and to be able to motivate various coordinators/ stakeholders

• Good in written English, report writing & presentation, and fluent in spoken English, Cantonese and/or French (added advantage)

• Ability to deal successfully with multiple tasks across different business verticals

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment
