Responsibilities
- Monitor, measure, and manage all aspects of risk in day to day activities, provide expert advice to investment team to ensure adherence to investment mandate and risk policies;
- Ensure achievement of all requirements of audit and compliance, prepare risk report as required;
- Work with compliance officer and risk colleague to achieve internal audit objectives and effectively implement the audit approach
- Act as primary point of contact with global counterparties to maintain good relationship, address business concern, explore further opportunity, and ensure best service;
- Improve evaluation framework and enhance internal system to better evaluate counterparties performance, and host meeting for regular broker reviews;
- Lead the project of counterparty onboarding, due diligent, and incident investigation, oversee risk status of brokers and manage counterparty risk promptly, collaborate with other department on various counterparty events;
- Compile and prepare materials such as risk reports, presentation, etc.
Requirement
- Bachelor degree or above, preferably in Finance, Economics, Management, Engineering disciplines;
- Working experience in finance or investment area, understanding of cash equity trading or security lending would be an advantage;
- Good knowledge of risk management and internal audit practice, working experience in IT or auditing-related practice would be preferred;
- Strong team interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners;
- Good organizational and analytical skills including the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects;
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent in Mandarin is preferred;
- Solid skills in presentation, organizing meeting, research and compiling report, especially in Chinese.
