Responsibilities:
  • Execute marketing plans according to the bank's and department's business strategies, including managing core client relationships, responsible for the overall business development, and accountable for the respective key performance indicators.
  • Work closely with BOCHK SEA entities to provide services and solution to financial institutions within the region.

  • Coordinate with relevant product departments to convey client's requirements and jointly promote the marketing, development, and innovation of products.
  • Manage the credit portfolio and risks. Monitor the credit portfolio and asset quality, provide early warning for any abnormal situations, as well as identify and address problematic credits to minimize potential losses.
  • Provide intelligence on industry dynamics, market trend, and news of competitors to management, and effectively communicate the analysis and recommendations to the relevant business units.
  • Represent the Bank to enhance corporate image by participating in external organizations or associations' activities.
  • Comply with the laws, regulations or codes of the respective regulatory authorities, the bank's policies and procedures, relevant risk management policies and procedures, as well as other related rules and regulations. Identify and control various potential or existing risks in the work, and report to management and relevant units in a timely manner, with rectification measures and follow up formulated accordingly.
  • Assume the responsibility as the first line of defense against money laundering, continuously fulfill the duty of know-your-customer and customer due diligence, and report suspicious transactions in a timely manner.
  • Undertake other business development and management tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • University degree in a related discipline.
  • Good knowledge of the corporate banking and treasury products and services preferred.
  • Working experience in SEA countries preferred.
  • Familiar with the general banking operations and its legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Previous exposure to the preparation of credit proposals.
  • Sound interpersonal, communication and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written Chinese (including Putonghua) and English.
  • Knowledge in data analytics or digital transformation a plus.
