We are urgently seeking a seasoned Senior Network Manager who will serve as the Head of Network Operations & Services for a distinguished global investment firm. In this pivotal role, you will report to the Head of Infrastructure & Regional IT and oversee a team of more than 10 individuals, including external service provider staff and will manage an enterprise regional network operations environment.

Responsibilities of the Role:
- Lead a cross-functional team that includes internal members and external managed service providers to ensure comprehensive delivery of network services from conception to execution and maintenance.
- Oversee the technical design and governance of network systems across both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Partner with cloud providers and information security teams to integrate solutions tailored to networking needs.
- Assume the role of technical authority for network-related RFI/RFP processes, contracts, and project scopes, negotiating with vendors to secure the most effective solutions aligned with company objectives.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather their requirements and convert them into practical technological solutions.
- Maintain open communication with senior management to ensure alignment on collaborative efforts and shared objectives.
- Strategically plan and identify resources for complex network systems, forecasting needs and implementing requirements accordingly.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects of varying complexity in collaboration with other IT teams.
- Oversee the network operations and support services, acting as the primary escalation contact for complex networking challenges.
- Provide leadership to the network team, focusing on employee development and talent retention.
Required Skills for the Role:
- A Bachelor's Degree or advanced qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related IT discipline from a respected institution.
- Over 10 years of leadership experience managing a large enterprise network team, ideally in the financial services industry.
- Significant experience in managing network systems, including LAN, MAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud architectures (AWS & Azure), as well as firewall solutions, wireless LAN, VPNs, IPS, WAF, SLB, network oversight, performance tracking, and automation tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of network technologies and emerging trends with respect to AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Proven track record in designing and executing complex network initiatives successfully.
- Strong skills in vendor management, particularly in negotiations and project implementation.
- Considerable experience in network operations management along with familiarity with ITIL principles.
- Outstanding analytical capabilities, adept at problem-solving and decision-making.
- Excellent influence and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) is essential.
- Relevant certifications such as CCIE, Azure, and AWS are advantageous
