Corporate Access Services Summer Intern (Hong Kong)
About Platform Solutions Execution Management ('PSEM') is the firm's industry leading initiative in resourcing Millennium investment professionals globally across access, data, research, and technology.
Corporate Access is part of PSEM and facilitates access to companies, both broker-sourced and self-originated, for Millennium investment professionals ('IPs').
This role requires managing the daily responsibilities and overall process of corporate access in Asia, as part of Corporate Access Services team based in Hong Kong, for the benefit of all Millennium IPs.
Primary responsibilities - Managing corporate access requests and priorities from Millennium IPs; primarily those IPs based in Hong Kong and Singapore, though inclusive of IPs in all of Asia, EMEA, and Americas
- Working closely with Millennium Corporate Access Services teams globally to optimize access to Asian corporates
- Booking/confirming of meetings, rooms, and attendees; coordinating all IP requests; and sending calendar invites for all Millennium corporate access meetings/events in Asia
- Working closely with sell-side to maximize IP seats/access, allocate IP seats in restricted situations, securing translators as necessary, and communicating priority IP requests
- Manage all aspects of sell-side conference events, including meeting requests, scheduling, confirmation/cancellation
- Liaise between IPs and corporate mgmt. teams to consolidate IP requests, as needed, and arrange quarterly IR calls, where possible
- Onboard new IPs; educating those new to the firm with the corporate access offering, process, and tools
Qualifications/Skills Required - Degree from an accredited university with a strong academic record
- Outstanding verbal and communication skills, in both languages, with poise and confidence to interact with corporate mgmt. teams and Millennium investment professionals
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power Point and the ability to manipulate data
- High degree of operational efficiency, ability to multi-task, and excellent attention to detail
- Good team player with strong willingness to participate and help others reach shared goals
- Strong communication skills
- Cumulative GPA of 3.5 and above required
