About the team
Credit Section is responsible for analyzing and making recommendation on credit applications, checking and reviewing loan documentation, analyzing branch portfolio and prepare portfolio report, managing regulatory tasks and projects, etc..
Role requirements
- To review the Branch's credit policy and operating procedures by referring to any update of Head Offices credit-related policies and operating procedures, as well as the HKMAs regulatory requirement;
- To produce credit portfolio report and to arrange/participate in Credit Management Committee;
- To produce credit risk stress testing reports (inclusive of climate risk stress testing);
- To support any new regulatory initiatives (e.g., ESG/ climate risk related projects) by working with other Sections/Dept. and/or external consultants;
- To coordinate and provide necessary information as requested by different authorities, i.e. HKMA, FSA, BOJ, etc.;
- To provide information to relevant teams for the purpose of HKMA reporting;
- To manage requests and questions from HKMA or external auditor;
- To coordinate the submission of various kinds of credit reports from CBD to Head Office;
- To check Head Office Bulletin Board for credit related circulars and to relay the necessary message to related stakeholders;
- To ensure the CIF registration is properly managed;
- To submit data to CCRA and prepare related monthly reports;
- To support subordinates in overall daily operation under the leadership of Team Head;
- To perform any duties assigned by superiors.
Essential Functions
- To support the Team Head by ensuring smooth operations of the Planning Team;
- To support, advise and negotiate with CBD in carrying out proper credit risk management;
- To prepare periodic internal and/or external management reports;
- To review credit related policies and operating procedures of HK branch;
- To monitor and ensure all operational excellence projects of the Planning Team are executed smoothly and timely.

- The individual should proactively analyze his/her work to improve quality and efficiency;
- The individual commits to high standards of business conduct and integrity in conducting operations, reporting and etc.
Work experience, education and skills
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/Finance/Economics or related discipline;
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience with credit risk management, data analytics and/or regulatory background;
- Good computer skills and experienced in MS Office applications;
- Process work in a timely, punctual manner, active, open minded.
