Manager / Assistant Manager, Private Banking Operations

Responsibilities:

• Provide new account opening support, annual and Ad-hoc account review services for customers
• Ensure that account opening documents and transaction documents are in order. Follow up on outstanding documents
• Perform various tasks in relation to Anti-Money Laundering including transactions monitoring
• Responsible for the checking of various private banking back-office operations, such as stock trading (HKEX), bond trading (BOND), and fund trading (FUND) including system input, order maintenance and risks monitoring
• To improve the standardized operation level of the branch operation department, prevent and control operational risks and legal risks
• Provide high-quality services, support, and deal with related reports and system projects according to the needs of customers inside and outside the bank
• Assist PB Operations Team Head to support the operations of Private Banking with compliance with statutory regulations and bank policies
• Handle and respond to enquiries / requests from internal and external parties, including RM, other departments and counterparties
• Perform Ad-hoc project tasks as assigned by Team Head

Requirements:

• University graduate with minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in private banking operations
• Have the operation skills and knowledge of various system such as CCASS, SWIFT, CLEARSTREAM, etc.
• Good command of both Mandarin and English with PC literacy
• Ability to analyze situations, prioritize and implement processes effectively
• Customer oriented, organizing with attention to details and time management
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong character and ability to work under stress and withstand pressure
• Candidate with less experiences may be considered as Assistant Manager
