Company Overview
A large regional bank with active growth and transformation is expanding their commercial banking business. Currently looking for a Team Head under their Commercial Banking Department to contribute to the growth their business.
Job responsibilities
- Lead a team of Relationship Managers to originate new business opportunities to expand in the local mid-cap/commercial clients Hong Kong including real estate clients
- Originate new client accounts and identify cross-selling opportunities with clients and promote suitable banking products, including but not limited to deposit, trade finance and transaction banking products
- Oversee credit applications while closely monitoring client profitability with regards to regulations and liquidity
- Monitor the team's performance with regard to the team's business targets, and formulate business strategies to further strengthen the team's portfolio / deal growth
- Ensure the selling processes and activities are in compliance with internal policies, procedure and all applicable regulatory guidelines
Job requirements
- Degree holder in Business, Finance or Economics discipline
- Minimum 10+ years of commercial banking experience with coverage on Hong Kong local mid-cap clients.
- Exposure to Real Estate sector a huge plus
- Strong knowledge in banking products and financial market analysis
- Native in Cantonese, proficient in English and Mandarin
