Senior Associate or Associate Director, APAC Marketing

Fitch Ratings is currently seeking an APAC Marketing Specialist (at Senior Associate or Associate Director grade) to join our team. This role can be based in either the Hong Kong or Singapore office. This role will be part of Fitch Ratings' global Marketing organization, which is responsible for planning and executing fully integrated marketing strategies to create brand differentiation and support Fitch Ratings' global businesses.

The Marketing team collaborates closely with stakeholders to understand their business objectives, enabling the planning and execution of effective go-to-market programs with the appropriate marketing mix. The team covers a wide range of marketing disciplines, including content and product marketing, marketing analytics, event strategy, advertising and branding, as well as marketing operations.

We'll Count on You To:
  • Work with regional marketers to provide marketing expertise for Fitch Ratings' APAC Business Relationship Management (BRM) group, consulting with business partners and advising key stakeholders on an optimal communications and marketing mix.
  • Support BRM by coordinating marketing programs and underlying tactics, including email campaigns, content development, events, and advertising. Coordinate with the global events team, email campaigns team, and internal Graphics & Design team to execute strategies and develop deliverables.
  • Partner with Fitch analytical specialists in the region to effectively position key thought leadership and intellectual capital, ensuring the business fully maximizes our premium research content for business development purposes. Additionally, amplify key intellectual capital to raise brand visibility in strategic markets, coordinating with Fitch Group marketing resources (digital media, CRM, multi-media, press, etc.).
  • Analyze the results of marketing campaigns by collecting data and deriving insights to help our business partners make more informed decisions.

What You Need to Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a similar field
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience within financial services, preferably B2B; relevant experience in ratings/fixed income market is an advantage. Candidates with less experience will be considered for a Senior Associate role.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English
  • Proven experience with digital marketing, including digital advertising, account-based marketing, social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Weibo, WeChat, etc.), content marketing, and website SEO/SEM
  • Regional market experience and understanding of business culture and mindset in the region is essential
  • Proven ability to work with various parties and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, as the role will be liaising with stakeholders and team members internally and vendors externally
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Marketo, and Salesforce; experience with Jira, Hootsuite, Power BI and ChatGPT, Content Management Systems is preferred.

What Would Make You Stand Out:
  • Experience working in a global organization.
  • Significant experience with project management, including planning, organizing, and executing simultaneous projects and activities (i.e., you can prioritize high-impact activities while keeping complicated smaller projects moving forward).
  • Innovative and proactive in identifying new commercial opportunities and marketing strategies on behalf of the business, including new sponsorships, events, and content syndication channels in Asia-Pacific.
  • Prior experience with marketing analytics concepts and data-driven marketing is highly desired.
  • An energetic self-starter and team player who is capable and articulate, with good interpersonal skills.
