We are one of the leading audit practices in China and forming part of KPMG's audit practice, the Financial Services group, both locally and internationally has been growing rapidly in recent years, especially in the Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong. The Financial Services line of business incorporates Banking & Finance, Insurance, Securities and Investment Management.

We are seeking a Group Administration Manager to support our Audit team in Hong Kong. Working with partners and department heads, key responsibilities and roles of successful candidate would cover:

Responsibilities
  • Help senior partners keep tracking of various reports such as billings, forecast, WIPs.
  • Work with department head on resources allocation, staff scheduling and booking.
  • Produce regular reports and analysis for monitoring and management information.
  • Produce ad hoc reports to support partner requests on financial and operational performance.
  • Perform first level of analysis of reports for management information and provide initial suggested actions or follow up.
  • Liaise with engagement managers and partners on queries on financial performance.
  • Coordinate training for group members.
  • Handle and coordinate staff engagement activities across the group.
  • Act as a key contact and provide support on internal projects and staffing matters.
  • Act as delegate of Head of function to approve certain engagement set up requests within approved parameters (eg client acceptance meeting certain criteria).
Experience
  • A university degree holder with a minimum of 8 years related experience. Experience in Big 4 or large scale organization is an advantage.
  • Well versed in MS Office, Excel, PPT and Word, e.g. using pivot tables to sort and calculate data, Excel formula functions for basic match calculations like V-Lookup to locate data sets etc.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and administrative skills.
  • A good team player and be able to demonstrate initiative and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Strong written and verbal English, Cantonese and / or Mandarin.
  • A self-starter with an analytical mind and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work effectively at all levels and experience of working directly with senior executives is Desirable.
