Ashford Benjamin is partnering with a top tier financial institution on a senior electronic trading risk search in Hong Kong market. This position works within a dynamic, analytical team and collaborates closely with senior stakeholders in the APAC region to identify, solve, and monitor risks associated with electronic and algorithmic trading.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior business stakeholders to ensure the implementation of the electronic and algo trading business risk strategy in APAC region
  • Design, implement, and monitor electronic trading risk control solutions and change projects.
  • Provide risk guidance and approval for automated trading strategies and initiatives related to electronic trading.
  • Manage the pre-trade control system and be responsible for real-time monitoring and control of transaction flow.
  • Work closely with the Technology team to oversee Change and Project Management.
  • Offer subject matter expertise to support e-trading related regulatory and exchange inquiries.

Requirements

  • 13+ years of relevant risk/compliance/ trading/ product experience gained within the electronic trading business.
  • Familiar with electronic trading business and market dynamics
  • Solid understanding of the regulatory environment and development for electronic trading business
  • Deep knowledge of algo/ electronic trading products and trading life cycle
