A large banking institution is seeking for a new Department Head Head of Treasury Sales to help drive and transform the bank's culture to align for growth through revenue generated by Treasury products.
Role Responsibilities
- As a Department Head of Treasury Sales, lead and build up a professional treasury sales team to provide advisory services to both internal and external clients
- Drive, improve culture and and promote cross selling of treasury products through other business units to customers of the Bank, including Corporate/Commercial, Retail and private banking
- Monitor treasury sales and product distribution activities to ensure professionalism and compliance with the requirements of the Bank and regulators
- Work closely with other business units and support functions in setting up infrastructure including development of new systems and workflow of selling procedures for treasury products
- Plan and organise resources for business growth, system enhancement, product development, and staff training to achieve the objectives of the Bank as a whole
Job Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of experience in banking industry in which at least 8 years in treasury products sales and advisory
- Supervisory / Team Management level experience.
- Experience in sales and distribution of treasury products across retail banking and commercial banking.
- University graduate, preferably major in Economics, Finance, or a related discipline
- Holder of Type 1 and Type 4 license with HKMA / SFC is preferred
- Member of Treasury Markets Association / ECF-TM Qualification
- Familiar with financial markets and practice with solid knowledge of FX and interest rate products
- Good understanding of risk limits, selling procedures and requirements set by regulators
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;
