A Well-Established Bank is looking for Senior Manager to join their Agency & Trust Operations, Securities Services Team.
The Agency & Trust Operations Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing the operational aspects of corporate trust and agency services. This role ensures the accurate and timely processing of transactions and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Your new role
- Process and monitor transactions related to Agency and Trust products, bond issuances, escrow accounts, and structured finance.
- Liaise with clients, deal parties as well as stakeholders such as Relationship Managers, Legal & Compliance, Operations, Clearing Systems to perform review of transaction documentation and deal mechanics from Agency and Trust's perspective.
- Handle interest and dividend payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Work closely with clients and deal parties to facilitate seamless transaction execution and closing in Agency and Trust's capacities.
- Coordinate transaction implementation to ensure client and transaction requirements are fully delivered.
- Contribute to projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and client service.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree holder in Law, Economics or Finance or related disciplines.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in global markets operations and settlement with knowledge of capital market instruments and transactions.
- Professional Qualification / HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework Qualification / Professional Examination / Licence
- Good knowledge in capital markets, corporate trust experience is a distinct advantage.
- Familiar with debt securities new issuance through Euroclear / Clearstream / CMU; basic understanding of loan transactions, cross-border payments, securities settlements.
