We are offering an incredible 9-week paid student work placement that will give you a front-row seat to the inner workings of the financial markets.
Corporate Services (COS) is our primary department within our Global Core Operations to coordinate all services provided to our listed issuer clients, including corporate actions execution, dividend payments disbursements, shareholder communications and shareholder meetings support. COS would often interact with other departments within Operations to achieve these objectives, to ensure a timely service delivery that is also compliant with applicable regulatory requirements.
A role you will love This is a full-time work placement for nine weeks, starting on April 28 2025 until July 4 2025. We are currently accepting applications and will start inviting candidates for interviews in January. Interviews will be conducted face-to-face starting in February.
During the work placement, you will support the Corporate Services team to deliver shareholder meetings administration services for Hong Kong listed companies during the AGM season.
Some of your key responsibilities will include: - Coordinating meeting logistics, such as venue, catering, equipment, etc.
- Setting up the system for online registration and voting
- Managing the registration process and counting the votes at the meetings
- Assisting the team with daily tasks and projects
- Performing other duties as assigned by the team managers
What will you bring to the role? You are currently a student with excellent English and Cantonese communication skills. You are self-motivated, responsible and able to work in a team environment.
Other key skills required for the role include: - A keen interest in corporate services and shareholder relations
- Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Available to commit to a full-time role from April to July
